Course Instructor:
Eugene “Gene” Schultz, Ph.D., CISM, CISSP.
Gene is the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at High Tower Software, and is a nationally recognized speaker and CISM® instructor as well as an accomplished author with numerous publications and books to his credit.

Brief Instructor Bio:
- Co-author of the Certified Information Security Manager preparation materials and examination question contributor.
- Serves on the technical advisory board of three companies.
- Retired professor from the University of California at Berkeley.
- Recipient of the NASA Technical Excellence Award.
- Elected to the ISSA Hall of Fame.
- Co-founder of FIRST, the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams.
- Regular speaker and contributor to SANS programs and newsletters
